When I first began to use the mesage boards, I noticed that in user's board posts there were no spaces, or indents between blocks of text.
For example, If there is an article with the title "Guide dogs for the blind," and then two returns, when someone posts an article on the boards the text just runs together in a big massive blob. Or, when I finish writing a board post and I want to sign my name, I hit the enter key twice and then type my name. But when the topic appears, my name runs together with the last sentence of my post.
I just wish I could break up my text so it doesn't all run together. Did I mis something?

I had the same question and i created a topic called A small problem asking about that. The answer is that the website doesn't read html and that's why there are no paragraphs.
Only in our text profiles we can have paragraphs but we have to enter some HTML commands that i don't know.
Nikos
Are you sure this block won't line break here?
or here?
--Dave
At least the <br> html tag works. lol
--Dave
Dave, how'd you do that? I'm an idiot, really. I don't know the first thing about this, but you managed that, somehow.
Brice
I used the <br> HTML tag where I wanted the lines to break. I don't know how many of the tags will be interpreted in this way in the text area for board posts.

Thanks Dave. <BR>
That was a very useful command to know. <BR>

Strange. It didn't work here but it worked for my text profile but Dave managed to make it work. I don't understand that.
Sorry about that.<BR>
I just wanted to try something else.<BR>
If now worked it means that it only works if we don't put a space between the last word and the html command.<BR>
Nikos
I'm going to have fun playing around with this......
Brice
sorry........
Brice
It worked when Brice tried as well which means i do something wrong. I will try one more time. This time i won't type br with capital letters.
Nikos
Does it?
Not work?</BR>Hmmm, let me try
